Welcome to WorkFolio Business Studio ("the App"), developed and operated by Aftervideo ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using WorkFolio Business Studio, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the App on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

WorkFolio Business Studio is a business management application designed for freelancers, contractors, and creative professionals. The App provides tools for:

• Project tracking and management
• Client information storage
• Invoice generation
• Expense tracking and receipt scanning
• Equipment and inventory management
• Scheduling and shift management
• Calendar with Golden Hour calculations

3. Local Data Storage

All data you enter into the App is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your data on external servers. This means:

• You are solely responsible for backing up your data
• If you delete the App, your data will be permanently lost unless you have exported it
• If your device is lost, stolen, damaged, or reset, your data cannot be recovered by us
• We cannot access, retrieve, or restore your data under any circumstances

4. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The App will meet your specific requirements
• The App will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
• The results obtained from using the App will be accurate or reliable
• Any errors in the App will be corrected

5. Financial and Legal Disclaimer

WorkFolio Business Studio is a tool for organizing business information only. The App does not provide financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice. You should:

• Always verify calculations and data accuracy
• Consult with qualified professionals (accountants, lawyers, tax advisors) for financial and legal matters
• Not rely solely on the App for tax reporting, legal compliance, or financial decisions

We are not liable for any errors, bugs, miscalculations, or data inaccuracies that may occur within the App.

6. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL AFTERVIDEO, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION:

• Loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
• Damages resulting from data loss or corruption
• Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your device
• Damages resulting from errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the App
• Damages resulting from any interruption or cessation of the App

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

7. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Aftervideo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

8. Subscription and Payments

WorkFolio Business Studio offers a free trial period followed by subscription-based access. Payment is processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Subscription terms, pricing, and cancellation policies are governed by the respective app store's terms. We do not directly handle payment information.

9. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Aftervideo and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.

10. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Maintain the security of your device and any authentication methods
• Regularly backup your data using the export feature
• Provide accurate information when using the App
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or our website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts located in New York.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Aftervideo regarding the use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
